Spencer Karins

GIS Technician

Spencer joined Watershed Consulting with a background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), remote sensing, cartographic design, and water quality investigations. Spencer earned their B.S. from the University of Vermont, Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources with a concentration in Global Environmental and Climate Change and a minor in Geospatial Technologies. Spencer has experience in applying UAS operations in executing complex projects acquiring, processing, and analyzing geospatial data in response to flooding, landslides, and cyanobacteria events across Vermont.

At Watershed Consulting, Spencer specializes in spatial data collection, analysis, and mapping related to water quality planning, monitoring, and modeling.
