Andres Torizzo

Principal, Hydrologist

Andres is the Principal Hydrologist and co-founder of Watershed Consulting. Andres is a registered Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality (CPSWQ), Certified Erosion, Sediment, and Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI), and Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC). Andres earned his M.A. from the University of Colorado, Department of Geography and his B.A. from Tufts University in Geological Sciences. Andres has particular interest and expertise with green stormwater infrastructure, watershed planning, and stormwater retrofit design. He has been actively working on improving water quality with a variety of clients and partners for over twenty five years.

Andres key focus areas include green stormwater infrastructure, watershed master planning, and stormwater system design and permitting.

Protecting critical headwaters through floodplain restoration. Cabot’s Town Garage site was located in a headwater tributary’s historic floodplain.
