Watershed recently welcomed Elissa Schuett to the team as Communications and Operations Manager. As Watershed has grown our team and project portfolio, we are expanding our communications capabilities.
Elissa is joining us from UVM where she led the research and communications programs for Lake Champlain Sea Grant. However, Elissa began her career in stream research at sites across the country. Through career growth and development, Elissa began to manage and administer federally-funded research programs. The addition of communications to her duties sparked Elissa’s interest, leading her to seek out new science communication training and opportunities, including completing a graduate certificate in Environmental Public Health from the Larner College of Medicine at UVM.
Elissa’s background in stream ecology and watershed science gives her a strong understanding of our work.
Elissa is excited to be a part of the Watershed team and looks forward to getting to know our partners and clients.
